Nan CardellaNan Cardella is an energetic participant in the ever-changing rhythmic groove of spirit. She has been studying percussion since 2000, hosting musical gatherings that include a wide variety of musical flavors. She specializes in introductory skills and musical experience through simplicity and deep listening. Fun and laughter are an elemental part of any playshop lead by Nan. She is versed in improvisational movement and easily brings this to her playshops, enhancing and deepening musical experience through full body expression.

Nan is a Certified Facilitator of “The Work” of Byron Katie, bringing the process of self inquiry to address any stressful thoughts around creative expression.  She is an interfaith minister, assisting with running the School of Sacred Ministries in Doylestown, PA and officiating weddings and other ceremonies. Nan is trained as an AOBTA (American Organization of Bodywork Therapies of Asia) certified Shiatsu practitioner, helping people grow through gentle hands-on bodywork.

Nan is certified as a leader of Improvisational Music groups through Music For People’s Musicianship and Leadership Program. Nan brings people of all ages and skill levels together for movement, music, and community building.  Her leadership style is intuitive and free-flowing. She is able to move with the group, bringing quiet reflective energies to bear when needed, and inserting loud boysterous interludes when the group is ready and high-spirited. Nan brings experience in creative movement and has lead people through goofy fun-filled movement and music experiences.

She currently works part time as an Engineer in corporate America, and lives in Sellersville, PA with her husband Dave and 3 cats (Binky, OG, and Emma).
