Josée AllardJosée Allard graduated from the University of Montreal where she completed a bachelor degree in piano 1993. She received many awards from various national competitions, including a First Prize from the Montreal Symphonic Orchestra Competition in 1987.

Along with her teaching at two colleges and her private studio in Montreal, she studied voice for many years and gradually got interested in the art of improvisation as a complement to the traditional teaching. Now that she feels the benefits of the Music for People training, she wants to use music in her life more as vehicle for self-expression than as one for performance and extend it to a more creative life for everyone.

Leading from the piano and voice, Josée Allard invites people to discover their own sound and encourages them to commit to full self-expression. Although her style can be adventuresome, willing to try new ideas out, she leads with a quiet power and in a gentle way  that allows people to uncover their potential.
