Musical Madness and Mayhem at Molloy

In Blog by jan_mfp

After two years of online events, it was so wonderful to make music in person again.

Participants gathered on March 19, 2022 at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York for a full day of improvisational music making. Dr. David Rudge led participants in an exploration of Music for People techniques, both in a large group and in small ensembles. Smaller breakout groups were led by graduates of Music for People’s Musicianship and Leadership Program — Dr. Jim Oshinsky, Todd Rogers, Ron Kravitz, and Lynn Saltiel.

All instruments are welcome at Music for People workshops. (Check out the galloping horses that were part of one of the ensembles.) We invite you to join us at an upcoming workshop!
