A workshop in improvising and playing music, led by trained facilitators from the renowned Music for People program, founded by David Darling. Learn how to create music with others by attending to the rhythms and sounds within silence and by appreciating the truth that there are no wrong notes.
Bring your voice, an instrument of any kind and the intention to learn how to listen and express yourself truly and respectfully with others, hearing sounds with the whole body.
For both experienced and inexperienced musicians, and those interested in using their voice to make harmony with others.

Lynn is a clinician, musician, and a graduate of the Music For People Program, trained in the use of facilitation techniques. Lynn is a trained flautist and multi-instrumentalist interested in expanding the benefits of using music improvisation as a medium to support others in enhancing their creative self-expression, health and wellness. Lynn enjoys collaborating with other musicians and professionals, for a variety of projects, including mindfulness meditation, yoga, dance, poetry, spoken word, art exhibitions and conference presentations including the “Transformation Through Improvisation “ensembles.
For many years, Todd Rogers, a graduate of the Music for People Program, has been dedicated to supporting others in finding and expressing their inner music. His style is gentle yet dynamic creating a safe space where participants are supported to push their musical edges. Todd’s background includes extensive group facilitation work such as ropes course and group initiative experiences and wilderness leadership. A trained violist and violinist, Todd lives in Brooklyn, NY and performs with various groups oriented towards rock, blues, and folk.
