He studied bass at Oberlin Conservatory with Jacque Posselle and Diane Meisel, and electronic music with John Meisel. Matt currently studies jazz theory and bass with Jeff Fuller in New Haven, CT and studies music improvisation with David Darling. Matt is as comfortable with classical orchestral repertory as he is with contra-dance music. Matt’s performed with the Peruvian National Symphony Orchestra and the Wallingford, CT Symphony Orchestra and the Norma Terris Theater - Goodspeed at Chester. He performs regularly with his jazz band 'The Jazz Circle', his swing band 'The String Band' and the Contra-dance band 'The Fiddleheads'. As a pit musician and vocalist, Matt performs locally with community and professional theaters and church groups. Matt also runs an 8-track digital recording studio creating children’s music and recording local artists. Contact information:
